I’ve been working in my garden studio this morning preparing print orders and editing some of my recent baby photography sessions.
This one was taken at a recent baby photography session in Kensington and I’m just getting their DVD order ready to send out this afternoon. This is a very sweet shot, the little angel outfit was brought by the family especially for the photo shoot and it works really well – just showing a glimpse of the little wings.
I’ve been working in Kensington and Chelsea quite a lot recently and it’s great to learn all the different streets as I travel to my pregnancy, newborn and baby photography sessions.
Tomorrow I’ll be in Notting Hill for a family portrait session in the morning and I’ll be setting some time aside to visit my favourite London market – Portobello road! Well it can’t be all work and no play!
I’m also looking forward to the show case of my husband Andy Fallon’s work at the Hasselblad studios in Hoxton tomorrow night, it’s been a very busy couple of months for both of us and preparing a show takes a lot of time and effort. He’s working on several projects at the moment and one of them is based in Soho with singer / songwriter Tim Arnold – the stories and portraits are beautiful, worth a look if you have time www.sohoheroes.com

I really enjoy photographing little ones from newborn to babies to toddlers and children, each stage is magical.
I love this shot taken at a recent baby photography session in Hoxton with 8 month old baby Nina and her mummy, the shoot was so much fun with lots of playing and singing to keep Nina entertained.

Some lovely kind words:

Liz – ‘Elle photographed my children when they were 6 months and three years old. She was adept at handling a potentially complicated shoot, and her photos have pride of place in our home. I would recommend her work without hesitation.
I was so impressed with Elle that I also asked if she might photograph me & my colleagues for our website & social media presence. We were delighted with her work, & impressed that her pop-up studio makes her so versatile.’
Phillipa Ellis – ‘My daughter was just 2 months old when I asked Elle to come and take some photos of us. Elle made us both feel so relaxed. I didn’t feel like anything was over-staged and there was no pressure on my daughter to perform! She had so many ideas for how we could make the pictures simple but unique, and stayed until she had got the very best shots. The result was stunning, stand-out pictures (of both of us!) that I will forever look at and smile.’
Catrin Huber – ‘We had a lovely pregnancy photo session (36 weeks!) with Elle, and are delighted with the images. They look great! I am quite a camera-shy person, but the session with Elle was so relaxed, fun and professional, and we are very much looking forward to a further photo session with Elle once baby is born. I have highly recommended Elle to all my friends. If you are looking to have pregnancy and / or newborn photos taken, her experience, talent and warm, friendly manner make her the obvious choice.’
Lindsey Hobbs – ‘Elle made the photos session with our six month-old baby son the most relaxed, fun and special experience – even in our teeny lounge! The photos that came from it are something will we always be so very proud of. I have recommended Elle to all my friends and would do the same to anyone looking for a pregnancy or baby photographer on this site.’

Revisiting my Client in Chelsea after her pregnancy portrait session to meet the new arrival was a real thrill.
I used some beautiful soft fabrics and knitted pods to create portraits of her sleepy little newborn baby girl. The calm setting of their home in Chelsea meant baby and parents were very relaxed and we were able to stop and feed when needed and have a good catch up over a cup of tea.

I’ve just finished a wonderful baby photography session in South Kensington London with a lovely 5 month old baby boy.
It’s a beautiful stage to photograph as babies are very engaging at this age, they love to be sung too so there is always plenty of singing during my baby photography sessions! It’s a good job I’m well practiced with my little girl who is now 18months old.
It is amazing how quickly time passes, people always tell me this and as a parent you half listen but then once the first year has passed you are left thinking ‘where did the time go?’ and ‘where did my baby go!’
I love photographing babies and children, helping to create those lasting memories of this fleeting time is a privilege and a joy.
I’ll be posting more portraits on my blog soon and will also be updating my website with new products and packages. In the meantime please contact me for further details on first year celebration packages!

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in my Childrens Charity event for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I created a Pop Up Photography studio at this years Telegraph Hill Festival and it was a fantastic day! The sun was shining, there was plenty of music, food and art to be had and seen!
It was great to meet lots of new families and I’ve received lots of lovely feedback from the portraits taken at the event. I’m also very pleased to announce that I’ve so far raised £200 from print sales for Great Ormond Street Hospital!
I’m thrilled to be able to give something to this wonderful charity and hope to do more events similar to this in the future.
For info here is a link to my ‘Just Giving’ page – you can still donate if you would like to even if you didn’t make it to my event:
