It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog and to be honest it’s just been hard to find the time this month.
So far it’s been a wonderful build up to Christmas with newborn, pregnancy and family photoshoots, I’ve met and worked with so many lovely families. As I’m working on a number of print orders at the moment I won’t be able to share the shots from my most recent shoots until these are finished but I’ve included this lovely shot of Heidy taken a few weeks before she gave birth. I love the softness of this portrait, the sheer fabric gently skims her bump and the effect is so subtle and natural.

I love this picture from my photoshoot with Esther in Brockley, we had such a lovely morning and took lots of different shots of little Seth who giggled the whole way through. Esther wanted to give portraits of Seth as Christmas presents for his Grandparents – I think this one will go down well!

I visited baby Anna just 5 days after she was born following on from a pregnancy session with mum Holly in Crofton park, London. It’s always so wonderful to capture the early days and I love the before and after shots to bring together a beautiful photo story.

This was such a fun day, Arabella’s parents asked me to do a portrait session at their home to celebrate her first birthday. It was a wonderful day full of fun and intimate moments caught on camera.
I took a series of family portraits, father and daughter, Arabella on her own and some intimate shots of mother and daughter to celebrate her first birthday. First birthdays are such an important milestone not just for the little one but for the parents to look back and reflect on all the challenges and exciting moments they’ve shared over the first year. The changes you go through as a couple and as a new family are quite overwhelming!
I’d like to say a big thank you to Arabella’s family for choosing me to document this time with them and for making me feel so welcome in their home!

I’ve loved documenting my little girl over this past year and couldn’t resist celebrating her first birthday with a photoshoot in our front room.
I can’t believe how much she has changed and all the wonderful first moments we’ve experienced with her, from tiny beautiful newborn to exploring toddler – she has such a cheeky grin in this picture and doesn’t go anywhere without her bear!
