New beginnings …. sharing a shot from one of my bump to baby sessions in West London this evening a very elegant Mum to be!
I love my pregnancy sessions, capturing the precious moments before baby arrives and creating a lasting memory of that wonderful feeling when you are safely carrying your baby. Each pregnancy is so special and it’s wonderful to celebrate this time with a portrait that you can look back on and treasure, the time in your life before you become a mother whether it be for the first, second or third time.

Just a couple from a very lovely newborn photography session in West Hampstead. I was very happy to capture the Pregnancy and then the newborn pictures for this lovely new family in West Hampstead in celebration of the arrival of their baby boy!
They had also created the most beautiful display of sweets and toys that I think I have ever seen to mark the arrival of their little one, such a lovely idea. I was told it is a tradition in their culture and was kindly given multiple sweets and gorgeous little boxes of chocolates all labeled lovingly with the name of their new baby son to take away with me.

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday evening and that all the Big Lunch celebrations and Queens 90th birthday celebrations across London and the UK were happy and joyful despite the rain! I was lucky enough to join a very special street party this afternoon with my family and friends where we were treated to a fantastic live band with special guest drumming from my gorgeous 10 year old nephew, delicious food and wonderful company!
This week is already shaping up to be very busy with a newborn portrait session every day which is very exciting, lots of new babies to meet and capture special moments with their families. For now I can’t help but share these lovely newborn twin shots from one of my sessions in Bermondsey, London. I think it could be the perfect end to the weekend…

It’s been a busy few weeks with lots of gorgeous Newborn babies and their families to photograph across London. Today I was in Chelsea to capture the first moments with a gorgeous newborn baby boy and his older siblings and I even passed the Royal Family on my way catching a glimpse of the very beautiful Duchess of Cornwall on her way to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday which was quit a treat!
I relayed this story to the three year old when I arrived for our photoshoot and she looked at me nodding in agreement then simply said “I know princess Katherine….she is at my nursery”
So sweet, I love little moments like that, we had a wonderful photoshoot and I can’t wait to edit their session.

Love this new blog from the fantastic twin mummy and blogger Usula-Rose. Some great tips and advice for twin parents on how to survive during the first year.
I was lucky enough to photograph Ursula and her newborn baby twins and can’t believe it was a year ago already! My second baby was only 6 months old and the time and he’s now a toddler, the baby stage really does zoom by and I can’t believe I can no longer call Sonny a baby!
