Hello All,
Such a blustery day, I hope you all made it home safely this evening! I saw quite a few people holding onto their hats and loosing them as I travelled to Maida Vale today for a newborn photography session, revisiting a lovely new Mother and Father and their gorgeous baby girl who I first met a few weeks back for their pregnancy portrait session.
I often revisit my Client galleries for inspiration before my next session or when editing in my studio and I just came across these adorable newborn pictures taken at a photography session in West London …. I thought they were perfect for sharing on this blustery night!

I’m reminded with each of my newborn sessions just how precious those first weeks are and how fleeting the time is when your baby is a newborn.
With each passing week in the first year the changes in your little one are dramatic and wonderful and it’s very rewarding to be able to freeze a few of these treasured memories in time.
I photographed this beautiful newborn baby girl at her home in Kensington and I love her happy face and tiny fist as she curled up in one of my beautiful little baby pods.
I wonder what she was dreaming about!

I love my family photography sessions and especially when I am returning to capture portraits of a family I have got to know well over the years.
There is so much energy in these pictures and I was very pleased to be met with such excitement when I returned to their family home in Westminster for their portrait session. These two gorgeous little ones know me quite well now as I’ve returned to capture special portraits for the family over the years from newborn, to 6 months and first year birthday’s it’s been fantastic to capture so many milestones for them.

The days are already starting to get brighter and today I saw beautiful wild green parrots in Telegraph Hill park when I took my son to his favourite singing group. I can’t believe he is 14 months old already and what a journey it has been, to think this time last year he was only two months old and now he is running around very confidently!
It has been a busy start to the year and wonderful to welcome so many winter babies into the world and also meet lots of Mums to be for their pregnancy sessions. The small selection below were taken at a recent maternity and newborn photography session in Clapham with a family I have got to know over the years and had the privilege of photographing many times.
I love how glamorous and relaxed Mum looks in this pregnancy picture and how beautiful this captured moment with Daddy and his new baby girl is.
