I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful newborn baby girl with her mummy at her home in Kensington recently. I had a wonderful afternoon with this little one capturing lots of sleepy poses, detailed shots of her tiny toes and fingers and some stunning mother and baby portraits.
It’s such a pleasure to be asked to photograph a newborn as the first weeks pass all too quickly I know that these special pictures of their daughter will be treasured and looked back on in wonder as she grows.

A few of my favourite pictures from a lovely Baby photography session in Greenwich.
I love my older baby sessions, from 3 months onwards babies develop such fantastic personalities and are full of cheeky expressions, not to mention giggles.
This gorgeous baby boy was very happy during our afternoon session, even drifting off to sleep happily in his Daddy’s arms half way through, allowing me to capture these beautiful moments.

What a difference a year makes ….
This time last year I was preparing to welcome our baby boy Sonny into the world, he was due a year ago tomorrow (5th November) but he arrived two weeks late on the 16th November. It felt like a long wait for us to meet our little boy, although I had been busy throughout my pregnancy, finishing my last portrait session when I was 39 weeks pregnant so perhaps he knew that I needed a few extra weeks to put my feet up!
There is nothing like holding your baby for the first time, the relief after labour and the overwhelming surge of love for this beautiful little person you have been waiting to meet.
A year on and this week Sonny has taken his first steps just before his first birthday. He is full of giggles and mischief and we simply can’t believe that the first year has passed and he is now almost a toddler!
His big sister Bessie, has started school and suddenly seems so grown up, she adores her little brother and it is so rewarding watching them together.
This is the photograph I posted almost a year ago of the two of them together, two weeks after Sonny was born, it’s one of my most treasured possessions.
