I’m looking forward to all my newborn baby photography sessions this week across London, so many Autumn babies to welcome into the world!
Autumn preparations have already started here with Bessie’s school harvest festival this week and half term just around the corner, we have pumpkins and costumes at the ready for all the celebrations.
I’ve also started a bit of a thread about LED tea lights for pumpkins instead of the traditional candles, much safer for little ones in their costumes!
Todays picture is a beautiful little newborn with Daddy, such a precious time that passes all too quickly, my baby boy is almost walking now and nearly 11 months – I really don’t know where this year has gone! Time to celebrate his first birthday soon and then …. dare I say it … Christmas!!

What a beautiful baby boy! It was wonderful to do little ones newborn photography session at his home in Canary Wharf.
I have to say that he didn’t want to sleep at all during our session but was just so perfect with his eyes open, this is one of my favourites!
I was lucky enough to capture the pregnancy and newborn portraits for this lovely family at their home and they asked me to produce a set of hand made frames and album along with the retouched digital files of their chosen images for them to keep.
I loved working on all of the finishing touches and producing something to be treasured. Thank you so much!

Pregnancy and Newborn Photography session in Dulwich at my Clients home.
It was wonderful to first meet the mummy of this beautiful little girl for her maternity photography session which she had booked as a surprise for her husbands birthday, we had to arrange a time when he was out of the house and work quickly to capture lots of different poses before he arrived home!
I’m happy to say that he was very pleased with his surprise gift which we managed to get to him in time for the big day! It was great to return a few weeks later to capture their newborn baby girl and to include Daddy in the session.
I always do a mixture of portraits with each session that include family portraits, mother & baby, father & baby and baby on his / her own. As well as this with newborns I tend to do lots of shots that incorporate just using Daddy’s hands and arms to show the scale of their little baby.
I have a beautiful selection of hand made props that I bring to each session and am also often asked to include personal items which I’m more than happy to do as well as incorporate any ideas or key shots the parents would like.

Handsome young chap and his beautiful mummy! Baby Photographer session in Dulwich.
This was a wonderful photography session with this absolutely charismatic little baby and his parents, at 6 months old he was very happy to be photographed and pose for the camera!
Towards the end of the session we decided to take his nappy off and capture some beautiful skin on skin shots with his mummy holding him tight, I love the one included below.
It was so nice to work on these images for the family and produce the series of contemporary box frames they chose plus the digital image package with additional fine art archival prints as gifts for their family.

I just love these baby girl portraits from my newborn photography session in Hampstead.
I was thrilled when I was contacted by my Clients sister in Australia to book a newborn photography gift session to welcome her baby niece into the world and I’m pleased to say that the new parents were happy with their surprise gift! We had a wonderful morning together capturing these precious first moments with their baby girl.
