I had a lovely newborn baby photography session with this beautiful little boy and his family at their home in Chelsea, SW3
I first met Mum for her maternity photography session just a few weeks before baby Alexander was born and it was a pleasure to return and capture these first precious moments. He’s just perfect!
A lovely Family Photography session in Clapham to celebrate the last week of their time living in London before embarking on a European adventure! They wanted some classic portraits to mark the occasion and put up in their new home.
As well as newborns and maternity portraits I love to photograph older children, it’s often very rare that you get everybody ready for special pictures that will be framed and put on a display so it feels like a very important occasion for the whole family and it’s lots of fun to do at home.
I enjoyed mixing in individual portraits as well as group family shots with this session, the father and son portrait and their eldest daughter on her own are two of my favourites form our session.

Today I’ve been busy packaging up lots of beautiful orders ready to be dispatched in my gorgeous new ‘Elle Fallon’ boxes! I can’t wait to send them out and will be showing a sneak peak of the new packaging soon!
I’ve also been editing away and retouching my recent sessions and will share some of these lovely families with you soon.
These are two of my favourite portraits taken during a newborn session of the new mother & her baby and a family portrait of them all. I always incorporate family portraits into my newborn session’s and encourage parents to take part even if they are feeling a little tired. These pictures will be treasured by their new baby in years to come and I feel it’s an important moment to capture.
Often when I arrive for a newborn photography session I’m treated to meeting the proud Grandparents and I’m always more than happy to encourage them to become involved in the portrait session.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to get a rare family portrait and a special picture of them with their beautiful new grandchild.

I haven’t had much time to update my blog recently as I’ve been busy photographing lots of beautiful newborn babies these past couple of weeks not to mention some very beautiful Mums to be!
It has been so busy that I’ve been doing two sessions a day to fit all these gorgeous little ones in and I have to say it’s incredibly rewarding and inspiring! I love meeting new parents and hearing their stories – their journey into fatherhood and motherhood, it is truly the greatest moments in your life when you meet your newborn child after waiting nine months to see their face. It’s something that really can’t be put into words, I’m feeling very lucky to have been asked to capture that moment for so many of you.

I have visited this family four times over the last two years, the first time for a maternity & newborn photography session to celebrate the arrival of their first son, then again to capture his first birthday and christening portraits, so I was thrilled when they asked me to return again and capture some special images of their second baby boy earlier this year.
